A short, beautiful film about biking in Mexico City. And happiness.

One of my latest purchases was the U-Lock Wrench from Mission Bicycle Company in San Francisco. It isn’t too often that I come across a product that so simply and effectively satisfies a fundamental need. As someone who commutes daily by bike, tools are a necessity to me. My bike, George Bailey, is too cool for quick-release, so I need a wrench pretty frequently - fix brakes, change tubes, squeeze into a hatchback, etc.
Amazing animation/design work by Pavel Paratov.

Aside from the fact that I’m not looking forward to freezing my butt off during another Canadian winter, I’m especially sad that the bike season will be slowly winding down as it gets colder.
This weekend I took a few glamour shots of my Globe in an alleyway by my house. It’s going to be a long winter. Maybe I should look into getting some studded tires?

Great poster set for David Byrne’s South American tour of “Cities, Bicycles and the Future of Getting Around”
Fun bike video to start the day. Now back to work!

Visited Mission Bicycle Company on my trip to San Francisco. How I wish I had the cash for them to build me a new bike.
