The Letter “D”

After nearly a month, here’s the letter “D.” I’ve been working with halftones quite a bit lately.
Benefit Concert Poster

I really enjoyed working on this poster for an upcoming charity benefit concert here in Calgary.
Espresso Rain

The other day, I saw a call for submissions for Uppercase Magazine that looked like a fun opportunity to collaborate with Jacinta. The theme was “cloud motifs,” and this is what we came up with. It seems like every time we make something together we end up staying up far too late, requiring much coffee consumption. We typically end up at Denny’s afterwards as well.
Hopefully we’ll find out soon if our submission gets accepted. By the way, if you don’t know about Uppercase, you are truly missing out. It’s my favorite design-related thing to come out of Calgary.
My Own Worst Client

I’m getting married in May, so naturally I’ve gone overboard with the task of designing all the print & web materials for the wedding. It’s been a great deal of fun, but has also been a lesson in self-inflicted pain.
London Fog

My friends Andre & Cheryl just got hitched. They are both into warm beverages such as London Fogs, so I made them a painting of a chalkboard menu with some fun typography.
